Dispatcher

Bayonet Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. Previous experience in dispatching is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize phone and computer system to dispatch technicians or field units to appropriate locations.
• Monitor the route and status of technicians, coordinating and prioritizing their schedules effectively.
• Provide technicians with job details, traffic updates, obstacles, and specific customer requirements.
• Enter data accurately into computer systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and pertinent information.
• Prioritize service calls based on urgency and importance.
• Regularly communicate with customers to provide updates on scheduled appointments and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with office personnel.
• Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and effective teamwork.
• Service-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve customer grievances.
• Previous dispatching experience is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
