Job Summary

• Manages all aspects of the Service Department
• Responsible for estimating and take-offs in a manner that awarded projects are attainable within contract quotes and within defined completion schedules
• Plans and prepares all contract administration activities, executes and directs project activities, monitors field installation processes, and mentors service technicians
• Develops and maintains client relationships
• Attends, coordinates or conducts meetings and activities with service technicians, trade contractors, and suppliers to review scheduled project progress, shop drawing requirements, and material deliveries for attainment of project objectives including scheduled completions, and timely deliveries
• Oversees work assignments and monitors service technician performance to ensure project completion within established schedules
• Maintains oversight of established project budgets at hand-off and conformance with company and client quality and safety standards.
• Travel may be required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years recent electrical service management experience
• Proficient estimating knowledge/experience
• Valid Electrical JM License
• Strong computer, communication (written/verbal), and trouble-shooting skills
• Knowledge of all cost elements, cost coding, and ability to prepare and manage project and department budgets
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check
