MC CDL 18-Wheeler Truck Driver - ARC

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time CDL 18-Wheeler Truck Driver in Lubbock, Texas.

Job Summary

• Safely operate an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Transport goods to and from customer locations, distribution centers, or warehouses.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service according to DOT and company standards.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding scheduling, delays, and delivery updates.
• Follow assigned routes while adapting to traffic, weather, or road conditions.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechancial issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and safe delivery of freight.
• Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• 2-5 years CDL driver experience
• Ability to work overtime
• High level of punctuality and reliability performance
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow company vehicle and safety procedures and policies
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests as required
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
