As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive bids that support our projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Estimating commercial and industrial projects (plan/spec, design-build, and design-assist).
- Applying best practices and established estimating procedures.
- Coordinating project scopes with local and national codes.
- Working closely with material suppliers and subcontractors.
- Managing requests for information (RFIs) throughout the bidding process.
- Reviewing and qualifying quotes for specialized materials and subcontractor work.
- Preparing proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects.
- Interacting with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Recent experience or education in electrical field work, estimating, or engineering.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to work efficiently with estimating software.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of blueprints, specifications, applicable codes, and regulations.
- Must successfully pass a post-offer background check and motor vehicle record check if job duties include operating a company vehicle.
