Job Summary

The primary function of the Asset Management Specialist is to assist in all aspects of the administrative, financial, capital and operations of the Division’s high-dollar assets, testing equipment and manpower needs.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, inventory, and service agreements for the organization's assets and testing equipment.
  • Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.
  • Maintains the approval of vendors to ensure quality, fair pricing and ROI
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Helps to eliminate waste and increase efficiency by making the best use of existing asset resources and avoiding asset purchases that are unnecessary.
  • Develops and maintains processes, standards, and measurements that help the organization to effectively manage both on a daily basis and long-term its asset portfolio (high-dollar assets and testing equipment) with regards to cost, control, risk, compliance, and business performance objectives.
  • Effectively manages project manpower projections throughout the lifecycle of the projects, forecast, pipeline and open requisitions.
  • Service level monitoring and compliance reporting.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Physical And Mental Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and help to create, develop, and implement process improvement(s).
  • Minimum 1-2 year(s) of current working experience in a related field
  • Must promote the Company culture, and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
  • Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral direction(s) to project personnel.
  • Must have proven mid-skill-level to interpret project documents, including but not limited to, timesheets, spreadsheets, and billing documents.
  • Must understand contract management and administration industry best practices and processes.
  • Software licensing management and compliance reporting.
  • Must be able to apply creative solutions to business problems to ensure business needs are most effectively met
  • Must be able to learn Company and customer project management systems.
  • Regular attendance is mandatory

Qualifications

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with asset lifecycle management industry best practices and methodology preferred.
  • Must be able to develop and write technical documentation.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and MS Power Point) Must be advanced in excel.
  • Must be able to evaluate and test emerging technologies.
  • Construction project manpower analysis experience preferred
  • Must be able to effectively operate office equipment and computing devices commonly used in the industry.
  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Must have advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
