Administrative Assistant-Safety

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time Administrative Assistant-Safety, in Suffolk, VA.   

Job Summary

• Provides clerical and administrative support for division safety department
• Compiles, updates and processes records
• Maintains files and databases
• Word processing, filing, and scheduling of activities
• Coordinates meetings and training events
• Provides open lines of communication with employees and customers at various business locations   

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent administrative assistant experience, construction safety experience a plus
• Proficient computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) program skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
