Status: Temporary, part-time, non-exempt
Schedule: Up to 18 hours per week from Jan 5 - May 29, 2026 - 3 days per week within business hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, Mon-Fri - schedule to be determined
Reports to: Assistant Director, Internship Programming
Direct reports: None
Start date: January 5, 2026
Location: Chicago, IL, USA - hybrid role; one day in office (typically on Thursdays)

This temporary position will support IP's busiest advising season to support the influx of calls/emails around the time of IP summer application deadlines. This will also include pre-departure advising, and students' placement process.

Summary of Position

Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Follow up with students regarding incomplete application/missing documents.
- Perform data entry (Airtable database)
- Communicate with students via email and phone regarding general program questions and reminders
- Take meeting notes, coordinate action items
- Provide support/coverage for team as needed
- Assist in drafting visa and financial aid communications
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Minimum one year of administrative and/or customer service experience.
- Experience with data entry also preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, stay organized and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take directions to meet organization needs
- Strong team player
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Active listener
- Associate degree or equivalent related experience
$25 per hour
