What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS) position at IEP Therapy?
Therapist owned and operated; IEP Therapy is currently looking for a Special Education Teacher in the Crest Hill, IL area to join our team. We currently have the part-time and full-time position available for the 2025-2026 school year:
FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE:
- Special Education Teacher for a public school district.
- Junior High- grades 5th-8th, co-taught math and ELA and resource special ed classes, caseload is under 12.
Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:
- Lesson planning for students with IEP goals
- Design instructional and intervention strategies for students
- Collaborate with the Special Education team
- Conduct and attend IEP meetings
- Attend multidisciplinary team and case conference meetings
- Support district as needed
Special Education Teacher Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education
- Department of Education License with a Special Education endorsement
