About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Implement personalized pain management plans that may include pharmacologic, interventional, and non-interventional therapies.
- Apply cutting-edge techniques and stay at the forefront of pain management advancements. Utilize state-of-the-art technology to provide effective and compassionate care.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, physical therapists, and psychologists, to create integrated treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Empower patients by providing clear explanations about their pain management options, treatment goals, and strategies for improving their overall quality of life.
- Contribute to the growth of the pain management program by participating in research, developing clinical protocols, and mentoring fellow professionals and residents.
- Represent the facility in community outreach and education efforts. Promote awareness of pain management strategies and build strong relationships within the local community.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Pain Management residency plus fellowship.
- Demonstrated expertise in pain management with a strong track record of successful patient outcomes. Experience with both interventional and non-interventional pain management techniques is highly valued.
- Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and adapt to emerging advancements in pain management.
- Valid medical license and/or eligibility to practice in Florida.
