Forklift applicants will complete a forklift assessment. A key component of IEDS’ success is its people. We hire the best and you work with the best.
Frequent tasks you could expect during the course of the workday:
- Load and unload trucks, utilizing forklift equipment
- Account for product being received and shipped
- Quality control equals accuracy in paperwork and accounting of inventory
- Safely operate forklift handling equipment. We provide certification training.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory
- General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.)
- Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Please be sure that you meet the following minimum requirements:
- Min. 3 years’ experience driving forklift and shipping/receiving. Forklift skills test required.
- Four day on, four day off schedule, 10am - 10pm. Holiday pay is double time and ½ of hourly pay rate.
- You can lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
- High School Diploma. GED equivalent will be considered.
- You are able to push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
- You have reliable transportation
