- Conduct onsite psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for inmates.
- Provide clinical supervision, approve treatment plans, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Manage medication and offer individual or group therapy as appropriate.
- Prepare discharge plans and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
- Participate in staff training, meetings, and collaborate with Behavioral Health Unit staff if applicable.
- Support psychiatric assessments for inpatient and general population inmates, including court testimony when needed.
- Medical degree with psychiatric residency completed.
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts and current DEA registration.
