What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Pain Physician position at IDS Health, Inc?

We are seeking an Interventional Pain Physician to lead in diagnosing chronic pain sources using advanced protocols, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinate care with our team and community specialists.

  • Focus 3-4 days/week on clinic services at multiple locations, with 1-2 days for performing pain procedures in-office or at an ambulatory surgery center, including EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies or ultrasound-guided interventions if desired.
  • Required skills include performing epidural, facet block, and RFA procedures; experience with MILD, Kyphoplasty, and Vertiflex is a plus.
  • Open to new graduates and those with clinical experience in pain management, offering opportunities to develop proficiency in a sought-after specialty.
  • Enjoy a balanced work schedule (Monday-Friday, no nights or weekends) with competitive compensation.

Our practice specializes in advanced treatments for various chronic pain conditions, serving Northern California for over a decade. We prioritize accurate diagnosis and minimally invasive therapies, aiming to maximize pain relief while minimizing opioid use. The team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, supported by a modern EMR system and dedicated staff.

Qualifications include medical degree, pain fellowship, board certification or eligibility, California medical license, and fluoroscopy supervisor certification. Candidates must be adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy schedule. The area offers excellent lifestyle amenities, affordable housing, and great schools.

This full-time role offers a salary range of $375,000-$400,000 annually, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and professional development support.
