Family Nurse Practitioner

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides consultation, diagnosis, and treatment under supervision, focusing on outpatient primary care and health education, especially in STD prevention.

• Performs exams, takes histories, orders/interprets tests, and develops care plans.
• Administers procedures, prescribes medications, and ensures documentation compliance.
• Supervises staff and students, participates in quality assurance, and contributes to team meetings.
• Maintains licensure, certifications, and adheres to regulatory and organizational policies.
• Works independently in a fast-paced environment, managing up to 20 patients daily, with flexibility for travel and occasional Saturdays.
  
  

Qualifications include California licensure, AANP and DEA certification, BLS, and clinical experience. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Physical and environmental demands include exposure to biohazards and moderate lifting. The position is full-time, in-person, with a pay range of $65-$80/hour.
