Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer:
Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.
Support and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Linux, networking, storage, databases, email, and mobile platforms.
Drive automation initiatives to optimize performance, streamline processes, and improve system reliability.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, acting as an escalation point and collaborating cross-functionally with technical teams.
Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity processes are implemented, documented, and maintained.
Partner with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure products and services.
Required Skills for Infrastructure Engineer:
8 years’ experience in cloud computing and virtualization, including AWS, Azure, and Terraform.
7 years’ experience in infrastructure engineering, including networking, storage, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, and Linux systems.
5 years’ experience using scripting and automation tools to improve infrastructure performance and reliability.
5 years’ experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments.
