** This is a 1 year contract (likely extension), W2-only. Unable to consider C2C or candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
** Hybrid-schedule; 2-3 days onsite in Malvern, PA.
Position Overview:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS
- Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda
- Design and manage containerized workloads using AWS ECS
- Implement and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue
- Work with large datasets using Amazon S3 and Amazon Athena
- Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications using AWS CloudWatch Logs
- Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams
Required Skills:
- 8 years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience building applications in AWS environments
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- AWS Lambda, ECS, Glue, S3, Athena, CloudFormation, CloudWatch (logging & monitoring)
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
