HR Operations Specialist

IDR is seeking a HR Operations Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA. This role is within a highly regulated industry focused on employee benefits, including leave management and workers’ compensation. The position offers a chance to support an organization that prioritizes compliance and employee well-being.

Position Overview for the HR Operations Specialist:

• Administer and manage Leave of Absence, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and workers’ compensation programs in accordance with company policies and federal/state laws
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Leave of Absence, STD, LTD, and workers’ compensation issues
• Resolve employee issues related to leave and workers' compensation claims efficiently
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory updates and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth leave processes and documentation

Requirements for the HR Operations Specialist:

• 2-5 years of FMLA/Leave of Absence (LOA) experience required
• Strong organization skills and proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar software preferred
• Effective in oral and written communication
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
