Travel Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy (3x12s, Hospital-Based Setting)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to support a hospital-based retail pharmacy. This role offers a flexible schedule with extended shifts and a strong focus on patient-facing care.

• Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts (varied schedule)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Retail Pharmacy (Hospital-Affiliated)

• Accurately dispense prescription medications
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Administer vaccinations as required
• Monitor medication compliance and identify potential issues
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment

• Active Pharmacist license (state-specific, required at submission)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience (required)
• Vaccination certification required at submission
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills

• Experience with pharmacy systems such as RX30 preferred
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Hospital-affiliated retail setting with consistent patient volume

Vaccination certification must be in hand at submission
