The QC Technician supports the company through three specific roles. The first is the quality inspection of devices that are sent to Final QC after being repaired; the second job is preparing devices that have passed Final QC for shipping; and the third is receiving daily inbound shipments.

Our team works with each customer to develop a tailored repair workflow to address every need and achieve a superior turnaround time.

Description

Role-Specific Tasks


Performs final quality checks on devices that have gone through the repair process, ensuring devices are presentable and functioning properly before being sent to shipping.

Prepares and updates claim approvals as necessary, to ensure proper charges for repairs are assigned.

Records thorough quality inspection video of repaired priority devices to document the finished repair and condition of the units as they are prepared for shipping back to the customer.

Prepares outbound shipments of repaired devices to be sent back to the customer.

Receives and sorts daily shipments of devices to be repaired.

Processes inbound devices by cataloging and sorting shipments into appropriate device storage bins.

Records accurate and thorough video of received priority devices to document the condition in which the units have arrived.

Organizes repaired devices by customer name to ensure an accurate and manageable workflow for the Final QC process.

Works with the office coordinator to correct discrepancies with inbound and outbound shipments, claim submission issues, customer information, and other issues as they arise.

Audits device storage bins to ensure devices to be repaired are in the correct bins.

Prepares, cleans, and maintains a safe workstation and work environment.

Other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications/Skills


High school diploma or equivalent.

Quality control and/or shipping experience is a plus.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Effective problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail.

Proficiency in general math.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

General computer proficiency.
