Be the Final Step Between the Kitchen and an Exceptional Dining Experience
Idle Hour Country Club is seeking an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage team.
Food Runners play a critical role in our dining operation. You are the final quality checkpoint before each dish reaches the table—ensuring food is delivered promptly, presented properly, and served to the correct member or guest.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in providing exceptional hospitality.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver food from the kitchen to members and guests quickly and accurately.
- Confirm table numbers, seat positions, modifications, and special requests before leaving the kitchen.
- Inspect each plate for quality, presentation, temperature, and completeness.
- Communicate clearly with servers, culinary team members, and the expo station.
- Assist with clearing, resetting, water service, and other dining-room needs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas.
- Anticipate service needs and respond with urgency.
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, grooming, and Club service standards.
- Help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every member and guest.

What We’re Looking For

- The ability to stand, walk, bend, and safely carry trays or plates throughout a shift.
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or country-club experience is helpful but not required.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
