Duties
- Prepare and mix doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes and specifications
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers with precision.
- Package baked goods for retail display or wholesale distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods
- Follow food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in all tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, 2 years experience preferred
- Knowledge of food production, preparation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Experience with food packaging, catering, or restaurant operations is desirable
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior kitchen or bakery experience; enthusiasm for learning is essential
