Data Analyst (SQL) - Turn Data Into Real Business Impact
iDfour is looking for a Data Analyst to work with large sales and marketing datasets and turn that data into meaningful insights that drive marketing, business intelligence, and operational decisions.
This is a hands-on, analysis-focused role—not a DBA or data engineering position. You’ll spend your time exploring data, identifying trends, and communicating insights through clear visuals and storytelling.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to uncover trends and insights
- Write queries to retrieve, join, and summarize data for analysis
- Create clear visualizations (charts, graphs, presentations) to communicate findings
- Translate data into actionable business recommendations
- Partner with internal and client teams to support data-driven decisions
- Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Build and maintain recurring reports and identify discrepancies
- Improve and streamline reporting workflows
- Contribute across project phases from analysis through presentation
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or similar roles
- Strong SQL skills for data retrieval, joins, aggregations, and analysis to answer business questions
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience presenting insights through charts, graphs, and slides
- Strong communication skills—ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience. We value demonstrated skills
- Python or basic programming experience
- Experience with marketing or consumer data
- Exposure to statistical analysis or predictive modeling
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Work with large, real-world datasets
