This is a full-time salaried position. Salary is commensurate with experience and capability, generally falling within the following bands:

  • $60,000–$65,000: You’ve got 2–3 years of experience in media analytics or ad operations. You’re comfortable in GA4, GTM, Google Ads, and Meta, and you’re learning how to translate the numbers into insights.
  • $66,000–$73,000: You have 3–4 years of experience and can build, manage, and report on campaign performance with confidence. You’re comfortable working across multiple platforms and collaborating with teams to optimize outcomes.

Work Location

idfive is located in Mt. Vernon, Baltimore, MD. We love Charm City, and it loves us back. Many of our team members live in the city and surrounding areas, but fivers can be found nationwide.

While we love to get together and meet for agency-wide events with both our out-of-state and local fivers, where you work is up to you, so long as it’s during our operating hours of 9–5 EST. If you’re within driving distance of the office, you may be asked to work from the office as needed for creative brainstorms or in-person client meetings.

Before you get here, you should…

Know your way around campaign performance data, ad platforms, and tracking tools. Our media team depends on accuracy, accountability, and clarity—you’ll be expected to deliver on all three. You’ll need to be detail-obsessed, collaborative, and able to switch gears when the strategy shifts.

You should also be comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and proactively communicating with your team, our creative department, media vendors, and client partners. You don’t need to code, but you do need to speak “GTM,” “GA4,” and “pixel tracking” with confidence.

Our team’s working environment is flexible and easygoing, but the expectations are high. If you thrive in that kind of setup, keep reading.

Bonus points if you also…

  • Hold certifications in GA4, Google Ads, Meta, or HubSpot
  • Know how to implement and QA Google Tag Manager events
  • Have experience pushing/pulling data from CRMs and ad servers
  • Can create dashboards using Supermetrics, Google Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Have run demographic, psychographic, and market research for campaign planning
  • Are familiar with end-to-end attribution modeling and optimization

On your first project, you might be expected to…

  • Set up performance tracking using GTM and GA4
  • Launch and QA paid campaigns in Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • Analyze early campaign performance and recommend optimizations
  • Work directly with media vendors to traffic creative and monitor delivery
  • Assist in budget tracking, invoicing, and performance documentation
  • Coordinate with our dev and creative teams to get everything running on spec and on time

After six months to a year, you’ll be expected to…

  • Pitch tracking setups and optimizations directly to clients
  • Collaborate with media vendors to identify new opportunities and placements
  • Identify performance trends, troubleshoot discrepancies, and own the story the data tells
  • Explore new tools and automation opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Help elevate our agency’s media operations with process improvements and reporting innovations
