In This Role, You Will
- Coordinate equipment calibration pick-up, drop-off, and tracking
- Manage lab supply inventory and ordering
- Complete scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly lab tasks
- Perform routine lab maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Prepare labs for tours and yearly audits
- Support safety audits, lab organization and cleanup events, and process improvement projects
- High School or Associates degree with 0-2 years of experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety data sheets (SDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, instrument and software manuals, government rules and technical procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong initiative and follow through
- Attention to detail
- Written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team contributor
- Ability to initiate conversations, ask questions, and follow up in person with lab staff
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and be coached
- Must be reliable – attendance is an essential function of the position
- Good computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Hourly rate: $23.25/hr; fully onsite for 40 hours/week
