Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC / 4 days a week - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule is Saturday – Wednesday from 9 am to 6 pm ET with occasional on-call rotation and after-hours work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable network experience and support.
• Proficiency in LAN protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills – Layer 1 and Layer 2
• Understanding of LAN security standards and methodologies.
• Proven experience with LAN networking and wireless solutions (Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Juniper Mist, Fortinet).
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Teams)
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry developments in the LAN Engineering field.
• Preferred: Cisco or other applicable Networking Certifications
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
Education Requirements:
o A minimum of 3-7 years’ relevant experience.
o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. Four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
