Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately operate large cutting machinery, including clam-shell die presses, large automated shears, mid-shears and PMC machines.
- Quality control of cut products (checking for material imperfections, cutting accuracy)
- Precisely measure, inspect and accurately count cut materials
- Ability to record daily productivity numbers
- Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Must be able to lift 35-40 pounds on a regular basis
- Complies with all required safety practices and regulations
- Punctuality and attention to detail is critical
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer 2 years of related experience operating cutting equipment
- Working knowledge of printing processes and substrates a plus but willing to train the right person
- Strong trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to self-direct/work productively under little supervision
