Position Summary:
Identity Group’s Wichita Campus is a dynamic and fast-paced environment delivering innovative signage solutions to major hospitality and custom brand clients nationwide. The Wayfinder plays a critical role by developing wayfinding systems, fire evacuation plans, and location maps. This position also manages sign schedule quotations, ensuring alignment with client timelines, product lead times, shipping logistics, tax considerations, and installation costs. The Wayfinder collaborates directly with clients, internal teams, and occasionally conducts on-site visits to ensure code compliance and design accuracy. Staying current with state and local code requirements through online and direct research is essential.

Essential Functions:
Ensure quality and accuracy in all wayfinding materials and documentation.
- Manage multiple collaborative projects involving cross-functional teams with varying technical expertise.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines while applying strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Interpret, review, and comment on architectural blueprints and related drawings.
- Coordinate project requirements with Sales, Project Management, Design, Estimating, and Clients.
- Oversee wayfinding projects from initial request through revisions, approvals, purchase orders, and production.
- Develop comprehensive wayfinding documentation including message schedules, fire evacuation maps, and location plans based on order specifications.
- Maintain and update standard templates, code databases, and brand-specific or custom project files.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Installation teams to determine accurate sign placement.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Identity Group policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, talk, see, hear and occasionally walk and stand.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands for keying.
- Frequently lift up to ten (10) pounds.
- Site surveys may require travel, walking long distances, and climbing stairs.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
· Must be able to proficiently interpret architectural floor plans.
· Experience with Sign Agent, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $23.04 - $27.74 per hour
