Production Manager
IdentiFire Safety | West Palm Beach, FL
On-Site Position | 32 Hours Per Week
Monday–Thursday | Working hours between 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Starting Pay: $20–$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications
IdentiFire Safety is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Production Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can manage people, keep production moving efficiently, solve problems, and take ownership of day-to-day operations.
We are looking for someone who doesn't need to be constantly directed. The right person will be a self-starter who can identify what needs to be done, prioritize effectively, troubleshoot problems, and help improve our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and workflow
- Lead, support, and hold production team members accountable
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule
- Prioritize production based on deadlines and business needs
- Monitor quality and address production issues as they arise
- Investigate recurring errors and identify the root cause instead of relying on temporary fixes
- Use problem-solving and root-cause analysis methods such as the 5 Whys and Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagrams
- Develop and implement solutions to help prevent repeated production errors
- Learn and effectively use our production and order management systems
- Coordinate with office and sales staff to keep orders moving efficiently
- Maintain an organized and productive work environment
- Help train and develop production employees
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, quality, and processes
- Assist with inventory and production material management
- Take ownership of problems and follow them through to resolution
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Comfortable learning and using technology and computer-based systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
Priority consideration will be given to candidates with:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a production environment
- A degree or education in a related field
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
- Familiarity with root-cause analysis tools such as the 5 Whys and Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagrams
- Experience improving production processes, quality, or workflow
- Experience managing and training employees

Interview Process
Our interview process is designed to evaluate leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and how candidates handle real-world production situations.
Candidates should expect a minimum of two scenario-based panel interviews.
Punctuality and communication are important requirements of this position. Candidates who arrive late to a scheduled interview without prior communication or who are a no-call/no-show will not be considered further.
Schedule
This is an on-site position and is not available remotely.

- Working hours will fall between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to consistently report to work on time.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay is generally $20–$25 per hour and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
PTO and benefits are available after 90 days of employment.
