What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Ideal Ready Mix?
Ideal Ready Mix is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our customer base and provide exceptional service to commercial and residential customers. If you enjoy building relationships, working in the construction, and helping customers succeed, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Develop new business and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Sell ready-mix concrete products to commercial and residential customers
- Prepare quotes and assist with project bidding
- Review project plans and identify material needs
- Provide job-site support and technical assistance when needed
- Work closely with operations, dispatch, and quality control teams
- Attend industry events and build new business opportunities
- Complete sales reports and maintain Customer records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of sales experience preferred
- Construction materials or ready-mix concrete experince is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to read construction plans is preferred
