As a Medical Assistant, you will be working closely with the surgical team by doing patient intakes, documenting preoperative and intraoperative data and working with the surgical team. You will also be helping manage the inventory of sugical supplies and helping in the OR as needed. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous medical assisting experience. Responsibilities Prepare for the patient visit, including reviewing charts and notesEnsure consents and day of surgery paperwork is completed and accurateConduct patient intake on day of surgery and communicate with caregiversAssist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and proceduresQualificationsBLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desiredExcellent customer service skillsStrong attention to detail
