The primary responsibility of the Receiving Associate is to accurately receive and stock deliveries of products in our warehouse. This is a hands-on position that involves unloading shipments, verifying accuracy of orders, and ensuring all items are organized and stored properly. The role requires consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds, stocking products in designated areas including walk-in coolers, and safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Stock and organize products in the warehouse and walk-in coolers to ensure easy access and accurate inventory control.
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize products.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and operations teams regarding deliveries and product needs.
- Assist in regular inventory counts and reporting.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Comfortable working in walk-in coolers and varying temperature environments.
- Forklift experience (certification preferred, but training available).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Hours:
Full-time schedule with flexible availability required.
