General Office Associate - Accounts Payable
JOB SUMMARY: As Accounts Payable and General Office, you will manage accounts payable using QuickBooks and other software. Process payments for vendors, compare purchase orders, prices and terms of payment.
Data entry and operating various office equipment machines. Work is typically performed within specified deadlines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Balance Vendor invoices with purchase orders- Create bank deposit - Maintain and balance daily, weekly and monthly sales reports - Routinely resolves customer issues within established guidelines and partners with customers in identifying satisfactory solutions - Data Entry - Miscellaneous filing
- Assist customers with billing questions
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Past due collections
- Customer Service
- Cross-train in other office positions
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - HS diploma or equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - 1-3 years related experience in an office environment. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- QuickBooks experience a plus
- Ability to focus on more than one task
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office a plus
- Excellent communication skills
