Our next team member at Ideal Landscaping, Inc. will have strong leadership, time management and communication skills. They will bring to the table the ability to manage commercial, public and high-end residential projects. They will possess a minimum of five years of proven ability to supervise several commercial installation teams with multiple projects running simultaneously. Job Title: Commercial Install Manager

Responsibilities:

Project Management –

• Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Facilitate the project scope, goals and deadlines.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements to management.
• Assemble and coordinate installation foreman and crew applying skillset and talent to matching projects.
• Provide project direction and support to the installation team.
• Plan and schedule multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to management.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Ensure quality installation.

Employee Supervision/ Management-

• Directly supervise installation foremen and installation crews with 3-10 employees on each crew.
• Interviewing, hiring and providing completed documents to Office Manager to onboard new employees in timely fashion while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Training, assessment and development of employees.
• Ensure employees are equipped with necessary personal protection equipment.
• Ensure employees comply with safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures.
• Planning, delegating and reviewing daily tasks related to projects with crew foreman.
• Reviewing daily timesheets for accuracy utilizing GPS tracking software.
• Facilitate conflict resolution between employees.
• Division Leadership
• Attends Leadership Team meetings and trainings.
• Reports division goals and outcomes to leadership team.
• Present suggestions and/or solutions to company goals/challenges.
• Ensure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicles, equipment and tools assigned to division.
• Assist with company projects and events.

Requirements-Additional skills and knowledge –

• Minimum of five years of landscape project management/ managing multiple crews.
• Experience with prioritizing multi project scheduling while taking into consideration weather conditions, supplier deliveries, manpower and committed deadlines.
• Current Driver’s License/ability to pass driving record background check
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Experience with installation of landscaping, irrigation, drainage systems, low voltage lighting, hardscape, water features, and site amenities.
• Experience communicating with supply vendors, inspectors, general contractors and the public.
• Strong knowledge of different types of grasses, trees and plants.
• Ability to use handheld tools and mechanical machinery used for landscape installation.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to report to work between 6:00am and 6:45am. (Mon-Fri). Saturday’s as needed.
• Able to be flexible with work schedule to meet project deadlines.
• Heavy equipment operation and safety practices.
• OSHA 10hour/CPR certified.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• CDL License preferred.
• General office equipment operation.
• Computer – Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Project Management software.
