Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department of a critical access facility serving up to 350 patients per month
- Float between Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, and Charge Nurse roles as needed
- Perform multifaceted nursing duties requiring flexibility across departments within a 25-bed facility
- Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in orientation scheduled exclusively on Tuesdays
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room, Med-Surg, or Charge Nurse roles
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- PALS certification (AHA, ARC, or ENPC) and TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification
- CPI certification
- SANE certification
- Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital setting
- Facility-provided housing option available for the duration of the assignment
- No blocked scheduling and a straightforward call-off policy allowing up to 3 shifts per contract period without penalty or impact to guaranteed hours
