Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers compassionate, person-centered care to elderly and acutely ill residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You’ll use your clinical skills and communication abilities to promote recovery, comfort, and well-being while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Active LPN license (Montana or Compact State)
- CPR certification required
- Additional certifications preferred in: Long-Term Care, Gerontology, Wound Care, IV Therapy, Ventilator/Pulmonary/Tracheostomy Care, or Hospice & Palliative Care
- 6 months of long-term care experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing care within scope of practice
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate findings promptly
- Maintain clear and timely documentation
- Support residents and families with empathy and professionalism
- Promote a culture of teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement
