About the role
IDEAL Fastener is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate spare parts inventory for production equipment and perform cycle counts of raw materials.
This is a hands-on role focused on inventory accuracy and supporting continuous production.
Pay: $17-$20 per hour, with part-time and full-time schedules available.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain spare parts inventory for production machinery (stock levels, locations, and usage tracking)
- Perform regular cycle counts of raw materials and spare parts
- Reconcile physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies
- Process inventory adjustments in the ERP (Business Central) system with proper documentation
- Ensure critical parts are available to support production and maintenance
- Maintain organized storage locations and accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, and Finance teams
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of inventory control, cycle counting, or materials experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with ERP/inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
