Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
• Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and enjoyment.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.

Skills

• Experience in memory care and senior care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately.
• Proficiency in assisting individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Familiarity with group home settings is a plus.
