Toyota of Cedar Park - Full Time Barista

Summary 

The Barista provides exceptional customer service while pleasantly greeting customers and taking and filling orders; keeping guests happy while they wait and assisting employees in a timely fashion. Baristas also perform some cleaning and inventory duties while on shift to maintain a well-stocked pleasant environment for guests. 

Duties and responsibilities 

• Prepare menu items to customer specifications quickly, accurately and without waste
• Prepare and serve drinks and food in accordance with health code and cafe standards
• Coordinate food and drink orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Always maintain cleanliness of workspace, including but not limited to cleaning tables, maintaining the condiment bar and removing trash  
• Operate the cash register and accurately ring up cash and charge transactions 

Competencies 

• Previous Barista experience required 
• Must have valid Texas Food Handler's Permit 
• Previous experience in using a computer and cash register required
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable with multitasking and learning new systems and processes 
• Must have availability on weekends 
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must be able to pass pre-hire screening, including background check, drug screening and have a clean motor vehicle report.

Supervisory Responsibility –Exempt status  

This position has no regular supervisory responsibilities

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position. Shifts of work are typically scheduled during dealership or service department hours, Monday through Saturday,7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Evening, Holiday and weekend work is required as job duties demand. 

Valid driver's license is required and all applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
