Location: Northern NJ / Rockland County NY / Westchester County NY / NYC (regional travel required)

We are seeking an Instructional Strategies Specialist—part- or full-time—who is passionate about transforming classrooms, deeply knowledgeable about special education, and ready to collaborate with schools across northern NJ and the lower Hudson Valley.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate teacher workshops and classroom coaching (3–4 days per week in person, virtual sessions on other days).
- Partner with teachers to design future-powered classrooms grounded in equity and engagement.
- Support schools in implementing inclusive practices, special education strategies, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Collaborate with the IDE Corp. team to design professional learning experiences and materials.
- Participate in weekly internal PD, including book studies and reflective sessions inspired by our founder, Dr. Nancy Sulla.
- Travel within the northern NJ / Westchester / Rockland region (driver’s license and vehicle required).
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Education (or equivalent) and valid K–12 teaching certification.
- 10 years of full-time classroom teaching experience (math and/or science experience preferred).
- Proven experience teaching or coaching in special education and inclusive settings.
- Knowledge of educational technology, UDL, and strategies for diverse learners.
- Strong interpersonal skills; reflective, collaborative, and student-centered mindset.
- Flexibility, positivity, and commitment to long-term impact.
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency strongly preferred.
