What you’ll do
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading goods
- Perform quality checks on received products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using RF scanners and MRP systems
- Assist in packaging and preparing orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes
- Support e-commerce operations by efficiently picking, packing, and shipping customer orders
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping and receiving
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and RF scanners
- Strong basic math skills for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
Preferred qualifications
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Experience with order picking and packing processes
- Familiarity with AS400 systems for inventory management
