Accountant - Mandarin Required

What you’ll do

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for efficient bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Perform financial analysis, including cash flow analysis and budgeting to support corporate finance initiatives.
• Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and assist with auditing processes.

Experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
• Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, securities law, and governmental accounting practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
