What you’ll do
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Program CNC machinery for optimal performance and precision in production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute fabrication tasks accurately.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Perform additional machining tasks including plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining, and welding as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, specifically with laser cutting technology.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience operating various machinery including press brake machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, and cranes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Previous experience in quality inspection processes within a manufacturing setting.
