What you’ll do

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Program CNC machinery for optimal performance and precision in production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute fabrication tasks accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform additional machining tasks including plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining, and welding as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, specifically with laser cutting technology.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience operating various machinery including press brake machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, and cranes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
• Previous experience in quality inspection processes within a manufacturing setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
