The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining 99.98% inventory accuracy across all customer accounts within IDC's Bath, PA distribution center. This hands-on role partners closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Quality to analyze inventory activity, investigate discrepancies, lead cycle count programs, support customer audits, and drive continuous process improvements. Approximately 60% of the role is spent on the warehouse floor and 40% in the office analyzing data and reporting results.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain 99.98% or greater inventory accuracy across all customer inventories.
· Execute and oversee daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventories.
· Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
· Monitor inventory transactions including receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, transfers, adjustments, and shipping.
· Generate inventory KPI reports and communicate findings to Operations leadership.
· Ensure timely reconciliation of inventory variances and system adjustments.
· Partner with warehouse leadership to improve inventory processes.
· Support customer inventory requests, audits, and reporting requirements.
· Maintain compliance with customer SOPs, company policies, safety standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
· 3–5 years of inventory control or inventory analysis experience in a distribution center or 3PL environment.
· Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to work 100% onsite, walk the warehouse for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds, and work overtime or weekends as needed to support customer requirements and physical inventories.
