Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in or around Spokane, WA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Welding materials (mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum) based on blueprints
Inspecting welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints
Setting up and operate welding machines, including turning on equipment and adjusting settings
Operating forklift as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate quality or machinery issues to management as they arise
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficiency in shop math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to determine material types and gauges
Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
AWS D1.1, D1.6, D1.2 certifications
Ability to use shop tools (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches)
