Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the financial and healthcare industry, is seeking a Payroll and AR/AP Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll and AR/AP Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting payroll operations and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Payroll and AR/AP Specialist
Location: Meridian, ID
Pay Range: $23.00/hourly
What’s the Job?
Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
Maintain and audit payroll records to guarantee accuracy and regulatory compliance
Handle employee withholdings, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and levies
Reconcile payroll data, identify discrepancies, and perform necessary recalculations
Process invoices, payments, and cash receipts efficiently across multiple systems and entities
What’s Needed?
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting or payroll concepts (training provided)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Effective communication skills to interact with employees and vendors
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
