Location: Boise, Idaho – Gowen Field
Clearance Required: Active SECRET Clearance
Position Type: Exempt
Overview
Stillwater is seeking a Database Administrator to support constructive simulation training systems at Gowen Field in Boise, Idaho. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing simulation databases to enable mission-critical training activities. This position requires an individual with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to support dynamic training operations.
Responsibilities
Administer and manage simulation databases on supported systems.
Support planning, development, and execution of constructive simulation training activities and scenarios.
Develop, manage, and maintain simulation databases, including associated system terrain files.
Ensure system integrity, reliability, and availability to meet mission training objectives.
Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve database issues in support of training operations.
Travel may be required to support training exercises, system updates, or mission requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated database administration experience.
Relevant technical training, certifications, or degree in information systems, computer science, or related discipline.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a mission-focused environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with training staff, technical teams, and program leadership.
Education & Certifications
Required: Technical Training, Relevant Certification, or Degree.
Additional Requirements
Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to security clearance eligibility.
