What You Can Expect

As a CMA or LPN at St. Luke’s, you will play an important role in supporting providers and delivering an exceptional patient experience across multiple specialties. In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct clinical support and patient education in collaboration with providers and care teams
  • Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures
  • Support clinic flow, care coordination, and accurate documentation
  • Perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, including injections, medication administration, and specimen collection
  • Utilize laboratory skills as needed to support clinic operations
  • Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care and safety

This position provides the opportunity to support multiple specialty clinics within the Wood River Valley, including:

Internal Medicine – 4 days per week (Tuesday off)

  • Support a fast-paced Internal Medicine clinic in Sun Valley/Ketchum
  • Assist with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, supporting clinic flow, and coordinating patient care

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Current national CMA certification required

(AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, or equivalent)

Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

OR

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Current, unrestricted Idaho LPN license (or compact eligibility)

Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications (Both Roles):

Previous ambulatory or clinic experience

Laboratory experience preferred, including specimen collection and basic lab workflows

Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
