About Bridgerland Technical College Bridgerland Technical College is one of Utah’s eight technical colleges. We provide high-quality, technical education to those in the Bear River Region. What You’ll Do As a Continuing Education Instructor, you’ll create engaging learning experiences that support student success while meeting the evolving educational needs of our community. Key responsibilities include:

Planning, developing, and delivering organized learning opportunities aligned with approved course outlines.

Providing instruction in a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Creating and maintaining curriculum materials, instructional resources, and learning activities.

Encouraging student participation, engagement, and skill development.

Monitoring student progress and maintaining appropriate classroom records.

Collaborating with instructional staff and administration to support program quality and continuous improvement.

Communicating effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

Maintaining professional relationships and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Ensuring the safe use of instructional facilities, equipment, and materials.

Managing classroom inventory and instructional resources as needed.

Supporting program growth through innovative ideas and continuous improvement efforts.

Performing additional duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of professional experience in the subject area being taught.

Strong knowledge and expertise in your area of instruction.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively present information and engage learners.

Basic computer proficiency and ability to utilize instructional technology.

Commitment to professionalism, safety, and student success.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching, training, coaching, or presentation experience.

Experience developing curriculum, instructional materials, or training programs.

Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Passion for lifelong learning and community education.

Experience working with adult learners.
