Position: The Clarks Fork Cook will be directly responsible for cooking for our Paws Up teammates, providing a fun and safe place to eat, and to assist and prepare aspects of the food production and preparation according to the Restaurant outlet menu items. Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

Prepare, and help with AM/PM Prep Lists

Learn and variety of techniques and cook for our Paws Up Family

Communicate with Management on daily production requirements

Set-up, breakdown, and proper maintenance of all equipment in Clark Fork Kitchen

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.

Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.

Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

Prepare cold food.

Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.

Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.

Monitor food quality while preparing food.

Set-up and break down workstation.

Assist other kitchen team members when needed

Exhibit an understanding of the importance of safe food handling procedures, as well as safety procedures in the kitchen

Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

Label, date, store and rotate all products while maintaining assigned stock levels

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.

Handle guest transactions legally, ethically, and confidentially.

Experience Required:

High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work; Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field

Experience as a Prep/Line Cook

Control inventory

Valid Food Handler’s License

Valid State Driver’s License
