Position Overview
Idahome Management is seeking a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance, Cleaning and Groundskeeping Technician. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can manage tasks independently, and takes pride in maintaining residential properties. This position has the potential to become full-time as the company continues to grow.
This position will be approximately 60% maintenance, 30% move in/move out cleaning and 10% light groundskeeping.
The ideal candidate would have their own tools, reliable transportation, ability to work and make best judgement calls independently, communicate delays, concerns and issues promptly, use electronic portals for work scheduling and reporting and receive coaching/feedback. Hours are flexible for this position and can be self-driven, but should be regularly spaced throughout the week.
Time tracking is done through Quickbooks Workforce with GPS tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine property maintenance and minor repairs in and around residential homes.
- Complete painting and touch-up projects efficiently and neatly.
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as needed.
- Maintain outdoor areas (Ensuring the lawns and areas around the dumpsters are clean, outdoor maintenance).
- Conduct regular property inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Manage workload independently and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential maintenance, painting, cleaning, or related work.
- Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and time management skills.
