Position Overview
This position is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and enjoys providing excellent service in a fast-paced medical setting. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every guest has a positive, welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and update patient records.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
- Collect co-pays and ensure accurate posting of payments.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain smooth patient flow.
- Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
